Description: Keeping Learning on Track (KLT) is an interactive professional development program helps teachers adopt day-to-day “assessment-for-learning” classroom strategies and establishes school-embedded teacher learning communities to provide sustained support. KLT comprises an introductory workshop followed by two years of curriculum-supported, school-based monthly meetings with fellow teachers, as well as various resources such as guidebooks, video clips, and an online community site. The program came out of a three-year research and development process led by Dr. Dylan William and ETS's Learning and Teaching Research Center and is built around the principle of using evidence of student learning to adapt instruction.
