Description: Mini-Society offers curriculum and training to run a "mini-society" session that teachers can implement in their classrooms to teach their students about economics, the marketplace, entrepreneurship, and social interaction. Students ages 8-12 participate in a mock marketplace in which they must practice 21st century skills of financial and civic literacy to buy, sell, and run a classroom-contained simulation of a society. Mini-society offers training for teachers to be certified to run these 10-20 week sessions.
