Description: The Alliance for a Media Literate America (ALMA) is a national non-profit membership organization that supports media literacy education. ALMA organizes conferences and events, holds a collection of student-produced films, and develops resources for teachers about the core principals of media literacy education. For example, the organization developed a handout entitled "What is Media Literacy?" for educators to use in integrating media literacy into their teaching.
